The man, the myth, the legend, the boss. George Steinbrenner, owner of the greatest franchise in all of professional sports has died at the age of 80 today. The boss has owned the team since 1973 and has won 7 world series title with his most recent being in 2009 in the new stadium. His legacy will be remembered and the new Yankee Stadium is a staple of his legacy and all of the great things he did in those 80 years of his life. Tonight is the 81st MLB All-Star game from Angels Stadium in Anaheim, California. I am sure that a tribute to the boss will take place during the festivities tonight. Robinson Cano and the captain Derek Jeter will be starting for the AL and many other Yankees will be on the bench for manager Joe Girardi.
