YANKEES BEAT ABERDEEN & GET FIRST WIN OF SEASON!

We all knew it was coming but Manager Josh Paul and his team can finally exhale as the Yankees finally get win number one. The Yankees scored in the 2nd, 4th, 7th, and 9th as they beat Aberdeen 5 – 1. In the other three games of this young season for the Yankees a HR has been hit and they have lost but for this game no balls left the ball park and they won. It looks like the Yankees are going to have to be a team that is playing for base hits instead of round trippers. The Richmond County Bank Ballpark at St.George has had it’s share of dingers in its history but if this team wants to be successful they’re going to have to be well rounded and not sluggers every at bat.  The Yankees have one more game tomorrow night in the rubber game of a three game set with Aberdeen before returning home to take on the Hudson Valley Renegades in their new home opener.

  1. Nice! I hope they get on the winning track now, it’s nice to hear that minor league teams are winning.

Has Angelini really not made an error yet? That’s groundbreaking news!

    • Yes he has made an error. I don’t know which game he committed it in but it had to be in this past week because there have only been 4 games.
