The Yankees had a lead early but it wasn’t enough because in the same inning the Scrappers tied it up and the score stayed ties until the bottom of the eleventh when Chun-Hsiu Chen hit a walk off home run to win the game for Mahoning Valley. If the old axiom history repeats itself is true then the Yankees will win Game 3 tonight. In the Semi Finals the series was tied up at 1 -1 but Staten Island won game 3 to go to the championship round. The regular season and post season records between the two clubs is 1 – 5 so Staten Island looks to have the upper hand as they head into this win or go home situation.

  1. What do you mean to stay alive? I thought that it was a 3 game series, and that they have just won it for the Championship.
